Diving and kayaking available around island in beautiful kelp forest. Harbor seals, sea lions and temperate and cold water fish species call this extinct volcanic island home. Possible dive on offshore pinnacle, Roca Ben, on second dive.
4:00pm
Departure for Islas San Benito.
Day 3 - 6 Islas San Benito / Isla Cedros
Encounters with California sea lions, northern elephant seals and Guadalupe fur seals along with temperate and sub tropical reef fish are the call to action at this amazing offshore oasis! All the while as clouds of bait fish and maurading pelagic fish species rule the deep water and edges of walls!
Beautiful kelp forests, the "Redwoods of the Pacific", and fabulous offshore pinnacles covered with purple hydrocoral add vavoom to San Benito and Cedros. California diving like it was 75 years ago is how we describe the vibe of these two amazing destinations!
Up to 4 day dives and one night possible days 3, 4 and 5. Kayaks also available.
You may have the opportunity to venture 25 miles east to Isla Cedros as well. This island, 20 miles to the east of San Benito and 20 miles in length is an amazing ecological beauty above the seas surface and largely unexplored below. We've spent time at Cedros over the previous two years and have found it to be well worth the short trip to the east.
Day 7 - Travel Day
The pace from here on out will be at a more relaxed pace as the miles melt by under the keel of your liveaboard!
Day 8 - Early Arrival to San Diego
We will arrive in San Diego by 6:00am with disembarkation no later than 10:00am.
